Biography:Arthur Schnitzler was an Austrian novelist, short story writer and playwright. His works were often controversial, both for their frank description of sexuality and for their strong stand against anti-Semitism. Schnitzler was banned and called "Jewish filth" by the Nazis in Austria and Germany.
